Science & Music...

"The one who does not like music, is the one who has never heard of it before"

Technically speaking, music is an application of science. The science of acoustics. From the time of Pythagoras, science and music have been intertwined. Many of the milestones of western music theory, such as Rameau's
Traité, have at least nodded to science for supplying the foundations of music. Science and music have been informally linked at Cambridge since the mid-nineteenth century. It is this form of science that has the longest history, widest range of application, and that is used most extensively in all the yugas of the time.
The very uniqueness of this branch of science is that it is beautifully blended very well into art. Thats why musicians are called as such and not scientists.

Yes, i have heard and am still trying out to gulp the topic... but it does make sense , i have to admit... in fact, i have heard abut a band called felah which actually improvises with basic science to help make their music..

Truly if ever you had an opportunity to hear the muzic of Felah,u'll always die for it...
I think this is the origin of the phrase "dying for music" if at all such a phrase is there...
